MY EXPERIENCE

In the 1st week of the Amal fellowship program, first I got engaged with amazing mini-group members and then we were assigned the task of setting your goal and if you had them then try to refine these as much as possible. Because in that week we also had a course on knowing yourself that’s why our vision was refined after that course and that is why we were supposed to refine them as per our personality.

The screenshot above is of that Word file in which I’ve submitted the project work of that week, it actually shows the Goals we set about this fellowship and obviously for our future. For that, I went through a lot of articles, blogs, and interviews in my field about the job market [ my professional goal]. After that, I ended up setting these goals for the next 10 years.

Before that project my vision was like I’ll whatever is suitable for me at that time and for that, I wasn’t focusing on any particular field, I had a diverse vision and now I think that there must a goal in front of you every time because that helps you to achieve that goal in a best away and as quick as possible. Now I have these as my goals so my focus is much better and have a proper plan for that.

One more thing I want to mention here is the planning of anything you’re going to do otherwise you will be wasting a lot of time In between that. I’ve learned a lot about the planning in first two weeks about its importance and discover myself as a brilliant planner and even I would prefer a job in the planning and development dept. in any industry. One thing I want to mention here that I don’t know much about taking initiatives. Now, I feel quite confident about these and it will surely help in my professional life.

If I talk about leadership, I thought prior to this fellowship that leadership stuff is not for people like us who think a lot and regret a lot after doing some tasks, but after going through some courses and some activities, I feel I can do this in some sort.

So, mentioned above are the stuff which I needed the most back when this fellowship wasn’t started but now I recommend everyone to take part in this fellowship and I swear you will not regret your decision.
